When we arrived at the venue, we were informed that The Pretenders had cancelled due to illness. The concert was supposed to feature The Pretenders and Tito Puente Jr. However, there was no opening act as promised. Tito Puente Jr. did not perform for three hours as expected. Despite this, he sounded great. Some of the stories he shared lasted between 5 to 10 minutes. He played a few obscure songs from his collection of Gothic tracks. The audience was unfamiliar with at least 6 songs in a row. Tito Puente Jr. ended the show with a strong performance of Gold Dust Woman, Edge of Seventeen, Rhiannon, and Landslide.
